Industry veteran Bobby Ray joins Darling Homes Board of Directors
The Dallas-Fort Worth area builder hopes appointment will expand its market
Dallas-Fort Worth builder Darling Homes announced that it has named housing industry veteran Bobby Ray as Vice Chairman of its Board of Directors and an investor in the company, according to a press release.
Ray was most recently Group President of K. Hovnanian’s Texas and Florida markets and stepped down in November. He acquired six building companies for K. Hovnanian and managed an operation that at the peak of the market in 2006 closed almost 6,000 homes with revenues of approximately $2 billion.’
Darling had 478 total home starts in the Dallas and Houston markets in 2011 and expects to grow to about 1,500 homes starts in the next few years.
