why on earth would you want to disguies the fact that you are building responsibly and sensibly by making one thing masquerade as something else? It seems that the honesty inherent in recognizing global warning as a reality is lost in trying to make your "Mediterrrainin" or your "Victorian" or your "Whatever" look un-sustainable while employing sustainable strategies . Be honest, dude, don't continue the old name-that-tune (ie style) way of building residential architecture. A million+ dollars for a mock-style suburban "bungalow" with some "hidden" green features. The coming thing, trust me, is honesty. That may be hard for you to grasp, being in the business of catering to the "buying public's whims" but catch the wave or eat the pave.
