"the nahb and its members have been leaders in the voluntary movement to increase the efficiency of qualty homes in america" states nahb chairman ray tonjes.nahb states over 235k members.
1.did the nahb execute a national cohesive green building guidelines for their 235k members?yes but they were a failure as leed is the international example.
2. after more than 7 yrs how many builders are building green homes after rays tuteridge? very few
in fact every major homebuilders stock has fallen in value and not one homebuilder is a national example of green home building.
3.is there one example anywhere of a major national homebuilder that is building leed certified green homes?no not one. there were green building state guidelines in place for builders to use.
4. did the nahb lobby congress in an election year for an eem or a greenmortgage? no nothing done hear either as bank of america issued a 2 billion commitment to greenmortgages and many of the homebuilders are under scrunity from congress for inadquate lending standards.including kb home prez katz firing.
5.more than 5 yrs after hz green survey the nahb
has now confirmed what hzs survey informed everyone
the public wants green homes.real leadership established here by nahb......5 years later.
6.the nahb has been a failue,there is no leadership,
and america homebuyers have been severely hurt.
over 7 million homes over the last 7 years have been built,not green but conventually adding to green house gas.each home has fallen in value over the last year..and will continue to fall in value as energy prices increase..the green expert informed the nahb and the world of this fact more than 7 years ago.
so tell us more ray tonjes nahb president...as consumer media is now in control not a bureaucratic organization....and the nahb will be rountinely corrected just like wikipedia.
