MBK’s green Gardena property offers live-work, townhomes
MBK Homes is constructing 97 new solar and LEED certified townhomes and live-work units located in the southern portion of Gardena, Calif., at 1600 W. Artesia Blvd.
Situated on 5.56 acres, 1600 at Artesia Square includes 63 new townhomes and 34 live-work units. All homes are LEED certified and come standard with a 20-year pre-paid solar lease. The three-story townhomes will offer four floorplan options ranging in size from 1,706 to 2,212 square feet with up to 4 bedrooms, 2 to 3.5 baths and attached garages. Prices start in the low $400s.
The live-work units will offer three floorplan options ranging in size from 1,766 to 2,309 square feet with first floors devoted to flexible office and home-based business space, and upper floors reserved for contemporary living with up to 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Prices start in the mid $400s.
