BlueLinx, the largest building products distributor in the industry, will distribute A.E.R.T.'s MoistureShield and LifeCycle composite products. "We pride ourselves on delivering quality building products to our customers from brands they trust," says Richard Goering, Northwest/Mountain Region General Manager of BlueLinx Corporation. "A.E.R.T's MoistureShield composite decking products and LifeCycle fencing products are environmentally friendly, durable, and stylish - they're a great fit with our existing range of building materials."
With a unique combination of market coverage, the strengths of a local and national sales force, the buying power of centralized procurement, and the efficiencies of centralized accounting and systems technologies, BlueLinx is able to maximize value for its vendors and more than 11,500 customers. The company operates in all major metropolitan areas of the United States through a network of more than 70 warehouses and many third-party warehouses.
"We've been looking forward to expanding the distribution of MoistureShield into the Western U.S. for some time now, and BlueLinx is a solid partner for doing this given their high trust among dealers," says Brent Gwatney, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for MoistureShield. "Despite the current market conditions, we continue to see growth in composite decking as more builders and homeowners look for environmentally responsible products to make their homes greener."
A.E.R.T.'s patented recycling technology encapsulates recovered wood fiber in recycled polyethylene plastics to create environmentally responsible products that provide superior performance in the most demanding climates. This unique manufacturing process makes MoistureShield decking and fencing products resistant to rot, splinter, decay, moisture and insects. With each product containing a minimum of 90 percent pre-and post-consumer recycled content, A.E.R.T. is helping to keep thousands of pounds of trash out of landfills each year.
