Crafty Metal

The 7086 is the latest to come from Chicago's New Metal Crafts lighting and design company. The fixture was originally designed for the Windy City's historic Blackstone Hotel, and now it's available for home buyers. This contemporary piece will be a conversation starter because it features an off-white linen shade and transparent crystal beads. It's available in a cool chrome or deep bronze finish.

The pendants integrate impressive abstract profiles with hardware in three handsome metal finishes: bronze, chrome and platinum. Each model measures 4 3/4 inches wide by 18 inches tall.

The line includes new products such as the Preset Dimmer with Independent Switch, which comes with a single pole/3-way preset dimmer and switch functions. Other additions include the fual fan speed/dimmer, which combines a single pole/3-way preset dimmer and a single pole/3-way preset fan speed control.

The GU24 two-pin CFL sockets can be used on many of its open-designed wall sconces and on all appropriately-sized incandescent pendants. These self-ballasted lamps can be a direct replacement for many standard medium-base incandescent lamps.
