FLAMEDXX from Arch Brings Class-A Fire Retardant to OSB

A fire-retardant coating and Class-A credentials make the FLAMEDXX from Arch fire a suitable substitute for noncombustible materials in many applications. The coated OSB qualifies as a Class A fire retardant material without showing progressive combustion in an extended 30-minute test. This product was developed by FLAMEDXX, LLC, and is distributed through licensees of Arch Wood Protection, Inc.

• Factory-applied coating creates a Class A fire retardant material
• No progressive combustion in extended ASTM E 84 test
• Suitable substitution for noncombustible panels in many code applications
• No significant reduction in strength
