Carlisle Wide Plank Floors now offers a brushed texture for its line of wood flooring for residential and commercial applications. While running wood planks under specially designed brushes, Carlisle craftsmen remove the softer spring growth wood, leaving behind the hard summer growth grains and a textured, three-dimensional wood surface. The process creates a softer wood aesthetic by adding greater definition to its heartwood.
