Johnson Hardware introduces a pocket door privacy lock for doors 1-3/4”and 1 -3/8” thick that installs almost as easily as it operates — and does so without risk of invalidating the door warranty. These locks do not need to be taken apart to be used with either left- or right-handed doors, and can be installed in minutes. In pre-bored doors, the patented Johnson lock is sized to fit standard 2-1/8” diameter bores and 2-3/8” backset openings — without alteration.
