Keep the elements at bay with new windows from Guardian, Peachtree, Gorell or Integrity
February 28, 2009

Chill Out and Stay Warm

Guardian’s new ClimaGuard 75/68 Low-E glass is made to withstand the worst winter chill so your homeowners can ride out the cold. The glass lets in 75 percent of the sun’s natural light while 68 percent of the sun's heat makes it through to warm the home naturally. A U-value of .28 provides excellent insulation.

Warm up to the 600

Peachtree Windows and Doors’ new 600 Series premium fiberglass-clad wood windows take energy efficiency to a new level, with the minimally conductive fiberglass cladding and advanced glazing systems that sport the company’s Real Warm spacers. The new line yields U-factors as low as 0.23, resulting in lower utility bills for homeowners.

Lock, Stock and Windows

Sporting stylish recessed locks that are invisible to the exterior, Gorell’s new 5100 windows provide superb security because of new heavy-duty hardware. The 5100 has unique metal lock keepers fastened perpendicularly to the meeting rails so they can't be sheared off like most other keepers. A larger, more contoured integral lift rail makes the windows easier to operate, and they're built to stand up to abuse.

Rounding the Bases

Be it a circle, oval, eyebrow or quarter round window, Integrity has it with 42 new round top sizes.

The windows have wood interiors and extruded aluminum on the exterior. The round top windows offer additional flexibility for mulling round tops above operating casements and double hungs to expand your design possibilities.
