Do you have the energy to keep up?

September 30, 2001

Replacing the Model Energy Code, the International Energy Conservation Code is being strictly enforced. By Jan. 10, 2003, all states are required to certify to the Department of Energy’s Office of Building Technology, State and Community Programs (www.eren.doe.gov/buildings/codes_standards/buildings/) that they have reviewed their residential building codes regarding energy efficiency and revised them to meet or exceed the IECC.

Refer your customers to the Residential Energy Services Network (www.natresnet.org) for information on energy-efficient mortgages, and use this as a tool to help sell your jobs.
