Fine Furniture for the Bath

April 30, 2002

Capitalizing on the cabinetry-as-furniture trend for kitchens and baths is Cole & Co.’s Custom Collection of bathroom vanities. Each vanity starts as a piece of fine furniture — chests and cabinets are the most popular — that is converted by Cole & Co. The company’s goal is to not compromise the functionality of the original piece, so most drawers, cupboards and compartments are fully usable.

Various styles and finishes are available on the hardwood maple vanities. Cole & Co. offers tops of Adamenten, a composite stone, and builders can choose to fit vanities with marble or other tops. Hardware, sinks and faucets are not included, but the company recommends sinks and faucets compatible with each piece. The Classic Vanity shown here is $1,595 and available from Cole & Co. and certain dealers. Call 888/653-2284 for information.
