Design Patterns Revisited

August 31, 2002

From three of the authors of 1977’s influential A Pattern Language comes Patterns of Home: The Ten Essentials of Enduring Design. Architects Max Jacobson, Murray Silverstein and Barbara Winslow identify and explore key design patterns, from site planning and building materials to capturing light and achieving flow between rooms.

With a preface by Sarah Susanka (The Not So Big House), the book features tours of 33 homes and more than 500 photographs and line drawings. Published by the Taunton Press, the 288-page book has a list price of $34.95 (hardcover).
