International Building Designer Newell Cheatheam, AIBD, CPBD, TIBD, RID, president of Newell’s Designs of Katy, Texas, has been awarded second place in the category Graphic Design Presentation for 2,500 Square Feet and Under Custom-Home Design by the Design Jury of the Texas Institute of Building Design (TIBD). The award was presented on June 13 at the American Institute of Building Design (AIBD) convention in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Cheatheam's 1,325-square-foot, three-bedroom lake-house design was of stucco and cast stone. TIBD President Serigo Astorga of Houston presented Cheatheam with the award.
