To showcase its award-winning designs and structures, Town & Country Cedar Homes has published a 240-page book, Cedar Homes: Ideas for Log and Timber Frame Designs, that contains 350 photographs of 28 structures in various settings, from mountains to lakeshores to woods.
The book, which includes floor plans, highlights the types of details for which Town & Country’s homes are best known: stone fireplaces, high ceilings, and rooms such as lofts and rainy-day reading and nap niches. Town & Country makes all of its homes from white cedar, which resists insects, rot and decay, the company says.
The hardcover book is available through www.HousingZone.com/store. Town & Country also publishes a semiannual magazine featuring its homes and offers a home-planning portfolio that includes a photo CD-ROM, an interactive design library and the Practical Guide to Wood Homes.
For more on these other offerings, visit www.cedarhomes.com or call 800/968-3178.
