Crescent Resources plans new single-family residential community

Development of community of 700 to 800 homes to start in 2014

October 9, 2012

Crescent Resources LLC, in partnership with Taylor Duncan Interests Inc., has acquired 250 acres in Oak Point, Texas for development of a new single-family residential community. The project, located just north of Dallas, is in planning stages, with development expected to begin in the next 18 to 24 months.

The community of 700 to 800 single-family homes will also be home to a community amenity center, two- and four- acre ponds, natural parks, walking trains, a swimming pool, and other amenities. The proposed community will be located directly across from Oak Point Elementary.

“Close to major roads, employment centers, good schools and all the recreational opportunities of Lake Lewisville, this is an exceptional location for a new master-planned community,” said Andy Carmody, president of the residential division for Crescent Resources. “We are actively planning a community that will offer residents a thoughtful land plan, attractive amenities and a high-quality lifestyle.”

Prices of the homes are expected to range from the mid-$200,000s to the $300,000s.
