OSHA investigates roofer’s fall from New Jersey house
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating an accident where a 30-year-old roofing worker fell about 30 feet from the top of a house in Bayonne, N.J. The accident is an example of why OSHA recently launched an initiative to educate the public about work site falls, which account for more than a third of all deaths in the construction industry.
