Right Angles
The ProSite Protractor condenses the process of creating miter cuts. This precision tool determines the angle for miter saw set-up. The ProSite Protractor functions on two scales: a red scale and a black scale. The arrows on the red scale highlight the angle for the miter joint while the black scale arrows display the angle for fitting a single workpiece to an angle.
The steps for incorporating the ProSite Protractor into your construction projects: (shown at right)
- Start by measuring the angle.
- Once the Protractor is in place, set the saw to lineup with the angle indicated by the red arrows.
- Cut the left and right angle for the miter
- The miter is precisely angled and ready to be installed. This tool is designed for carpenters, plumbers and building trades who require accurate measuring and transfer of angles.
