Mosaic Tileworks

March 31, 2002

Mosaic Tileworks, a division of Functional Sculpture Ltd. in Catskill, N.Y., has introduced a line of handmade tiles that make customization possible throughout any home. Patricia Feinman, Mosaic Tileworks’ president and designer, says the new line was inspired by “flowers, antique quilt designs, stained-glass patterns and mosaic traditions of antiquity.” The designs are displayed on a slightly distressed cast-marble surface using a palette of 36 nature-inspired colors. The series was created with backsplashes and the bath in mind but can be used in any interior setting as well as outdoors. Visit www.functionalsculpture.com for more information.
