The keynote speaker, Clay Nelson, spoke about the future of the industry and some steps for the custom builder to take to achieve their goals. His emphasis was on utilizing the information from the symposium to get the maximum benefit from the event. He spoke of the need during this down time to Learn, Grow and Teach to be prepared for the next upswing in the building industry.
Sunday’s lunch time speaker was Laura Michaud from the Michaud Group. After a riotous start to her address, she spoke on the 5 Principals of Success, derived from the 5 basic principles of Tae Kwon Do. She translated these principles into business and personal strategies for success. Personally, I was thoroughly entertained and motivated by her presentation and would highly recommend Laura as a motivational speaker.

Over the course of the 3 days we attended, we got to meet and sit down with some of the most influential and successful custom home builders in the country. It was definitely an event to attend and we feel like we came away with the beginnings of many new and hopefully long term business relationships.
We look forward to attending next year in Austin, TX.
