Windy City Sucking Wind

I talked on the phone with a prominant remodeler in the Chicagoland area today, and he said the market has hit rock bottom - he hopes. While most markets around the country have been experiencing a downturn for months now, Chicago (by most reports, including this same remodeler) was still holding its own as recent as late 2007 and early 2008. As of today's conversation that has officially changed. This remodeler said that the number of leads are still good, but the conversion rate has gone way down because prospects are hesitant to commit the money to improve their home right now. Hopefully, this is the bottom of the trough, but nobody seems to know. How is your market doing?
