Remodeling Activity Down in 2008

Harvard’s Joint Center for Housing Studies' quarterly Leading Indicator for Remodeling Activity predicts homeowner spending for remodeling will decline by an annual rate of 2.6 percent through the third quarter of 2008. At least it's not the 20-30 percent declines many new home construction markets are experiencing. Aren't you glad you're not a new home builder?
