Choosing the Innovators

Each day this week, I'll talk about one of our Innovators and why we chose him or her, along with some information I wasn't able to fit into the magazine. (By the way, the online profiles for the Innovators are extended versions of those that were in the magazine. Consider it my "Director's Cut," so to speak.)
When we choose an Innovator, we're looking for someone who is doing something unique or interesting, which others can learn from. It's not an easy definition to spell out for people ("They're Innovators because they're innovative."), because it really comes down to a gut feeling. As Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart wrote in 1964 (about obscenity), "I know it when I see it."
The first post will be up this afternoon, with another one each day this week for each of the Innovators.
