Remodeler driving leads with custom magazine

I love any story of remodelers who are getting out there and making big plays in marketing. Here's another great example from Regenesis Design Build.
The Plano, Texas, company was tired of advertising in local magazines alongside dozens of other contractors. The solution? Start their own magazine, Luxury Home Renovation. The custom publication is designed to look like a "real" magazine, not a vanity project, so potential customers are more likely to take a look at it, says President and CEO Ralph Stow.
All of the projects featured in the magazine were created by Regenesis and all the advertising is from the company and its trade contractors. The print version pushes people to www.luxuryhomerenovation.com where they can review more photos and project portfolios. From there, clients are linked to the Regenesis site.
The first 5,000-copy issue mailed May 1 and generated 1,800 hits to the Web site in the first week. The company will mail 12,000 copies of the next issue in July, with another version of the magazine launching out of its Houston division in June. The magazine now has a full-time staff that is going to take the concept to new markets to provide a solution for other remodelers.

Luxury Home Renovation Magazine was so successful in generating leads and phone calls for Regenesis Design/Build in Dallas, that we started a company (Luxury Home Renovation, LLC) opening up this magazine to other remodelers around the United States. It is protected by zip code, so you can be the only one in your market area to have this tool.
