Online construction degrees?

It's reminiscent, of course, of the American College of the Building Arts that I wrote about in the January issue, with the big difference being the hands-on element of the ACBA. Clearly, that's better for someone who needs to learn about construction. On the other hand, what ICMT is doing could be of benefit if you're looking to help some field personnel transition into management. The university is offering both bachelor's and master's degrees. The benefit of the online training is that students can take the courses without having to miss time at work.
I don't know much about them, so certainly do your own due diligence before investing any money in tuition, but it sounds like a unique approach to filling the thinning ranks of construction managers.

Edgar, thanks for information. Since I posted, I've heard about two other good sources for information on online education: www.guidetoonlineschools.com and www.distance-learning-college-guide.com.
