Readers, today we need your input. Below are some sample questions we are asking to formulate our new questionnaire…Tell us what you think—how concerned are you about green building? Are you just plain sick and tired of hearing it? Do you even have any idea what it truly is to be “green?” Or, as some might suspect, are we barking up the wrong tree here?
Sample Questions:
- Please indicate the extent to which you agree or disagree with this statement: “Green building is a fad."
- Strongly disagree
- Somewhat disagree
- Neither agree nor disagree
- Somewhat agree
- Strongly agree
- Should there be minimum standards of performance and sustainability before a builder can market a home as green? If so, who should set the standards?
- Federal or State Government
- Local Government
- Trade Association
- Independent, third-party program
- On a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 = “have used no green materials/practices” and 10 = “have maximized use of green materials/practices”, how would you rate the majority of houses built by your firm?
