Billed as “The Absolute Most Efficient Hot Water Heater Made,” and measuring only 16” x 13.5” x 3.25”, the Gulfwave 2 Tankless Water Heaters provides true on-demand water delivery.

Technology and innovation are going to decide who’s going to come out on top of the tankless water heater market (Rinnai, Takagi, Rheem, Bosch and others). Going over the specs in my humble cubicle, I noticed there’s plenty of technology and innovation flowing through Gulfwave’s pipes.

When you turn the knobs for hot water, a flow sensor detects that hot water is being demanded and turns the water heater on. The unit’s sensors detect incoming water temperature, flow rate, and overall demand. A microprocessor then calculates the amount of power needed to heat the water.

It requires only one breaker and one branch circuit. Gulfwave’s tankless models are supplied with water heater hoses, a service panel and breakers. Each model sports a lifetime warranty and, according to the company, it’ll pay for itself in under three years.
