Heating Up the Winter

It's been getting progressively colder in the Northern Illinois area the past few weeks. Hoodie weather turned to light-jacket days and then we did a swan dive into winter. Now we can't even get to the parking lot to our office's front door without ice cubes forming in our eye sockets. It got some of us thinking--what can builders do to keep their guys warm during these fantastically frigid months?

I decided to do a quick Google search of companies that offer insulated (some of them electrically insulated!) clothing and gloves. Though this isn't a normal product review that you'd find in the magazine, this should get you started if you or your crews are considering some gear to keep your framers' fingers from falling off. Click on the links to check out the offerings.
