Wow, IBS flew by this year. For those of you that attended, what did you think? What caught me was the surprising amount of floor traffic. Although attendance was down, most of the PR folks and booth occupiers I talked to were quite happy with the traffic coming through their zone. It’s hard to qualify this statement, but I’d say this year was all about the quality of traffic, not the quantity—and I’d be willing to bet the people that came down to Orlando for those four (mostly) sunny days represented the more committed/diehard/faithful elements of the building industry.
So what caught your eye? Let me know! I was all over the place, from Kohler’s monstrous booth in the West Hall to the small upstarts plying their products in the South Hall. And trust me—I walked it all. You might not have seen me there, but I saw you!
Loyal readers, pay attention to both my blog and our Product of the Day. You’ll see plenty of products from IBS filling the electrons and pixels on your screen for the next few weeks. And if it looks like I missed something, let me know!
