For more than 75 years, Professional Builder has been at the forefront of new-home design with its coverage of groundbreaking projects, leading trends, and transformative ideas in residential architecture.

Continuing this long legacy, we proudly present our first annual Professional Builder Design Awards. In the following pages, we feature 20 award-winning projects that represent the realities of today’s home-buyer market, from right-sized plans that live large to high-density, attached housing that provides all the comforts of single-family detached living. Each submission was evaluated by our panel of design experts (listed below) based on not only its design excellence, but also its sales and marketing success, construction quality, and cost efficiency.
