Located on a 307-acre site in historic Frederick, MD, the master planned community of Worman's Mill is designed in the tradition of "small-town America." Featuring 11 distinct product lines and a total of 1497-planned residential units, the community offers a variety of homes for different income levels and lifestyles, although its main emphasis is on the active adult/empty-nester market. The development is a blend town and country elements, featuring a more traditional grid pattern of streets at its core and winding "rural" roads on the outskirts. The planned town square will feature a mix of restaurants, shops, an inn and other similar town amenities creating the ambiance of a resort village. Community amenities will include a clubhouse with grounds that include pools, sports courts, playgrounds and greenspace. Developer had to make significant additions to the local infrastructure including building a bridge over a stream that runs through the property, extend water service and provide access to major roads. Residential prices in Worman's Mill range from $120,000 to $340,000 for the current units. Pricing for four other product lines will be determined as they are introduced.
