This community was conceived to fill a need for high-density luxury housing in an affluent, mixed-use infill development 10 minutes from downtown Atlanta. The target market was people who worked in the adjacent neighborhoods and desired the "lock and leave" lifestyle of condominium living. The combination of high-rise and townhomes provides buyers with a wide range of housing options and costs. The materials and proportions of the buildings and individual units recall the classic features of older local mansions. The site plan makes efficient use of the available land and includes many design innovations to maximize density, such as four-story townhomes with elevators and rear alleys, and tailored cross easements that allow tighter building placement. The result is a site that feels safe, inviting and urban while optimizing the use of valuable land.
