| As if to reach for the spectacular landscape that surrounds it, this custom residence embraces a free-flowing, open design that cultivates a strong relationship between indoor and outdoor living space. A combination of stucco and stone and heavy wood timbers contributes to the rugged appearance of the home's exterior elevation and allows the structure to blend harmoniously with its Sonoran Desert environment. One of the home's unique features is the stacked roof line, which incorporates a lower roof that extends beyond an upper roof and windows that are sandwiched between them. This configuration provides excellent views and allows indirect sunlight into the home while providing protection from the hot Arizona sun. The home's central entertaining area includes a great room and dining room. The gourmet kitchen has abundant counter space, a center island and an adjoining breakfast nook and hearth room. Sleeping quarters are confined to both ends of the plan for enhanced privacy. The master wing includes a sumptuous bedroom with fireplace, bath and separate office. Each of the three secondary bedrooms has a full bath. | |||||
