HousingZone Web Awards (2002 - Remodellers: Best Portfolio)

Adam Gibson Contractors
www.adamgibson.com

Right up front, the Adam Gibson site explains why it has a photo gallery: "It's one thing to talk about what we can do; it's another to show you." And its simple but impressive gallery does just that. The gallery is sorted by room: bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, foyers and hallways, exteriors, interiors, decks and porches, and "elements," which shows off some of the company's special projects. Thumbnail pictures on each room's index page expand to a much larger size when clicked on, giving viewers a detailed view of a multitude of different projects. The pictures are high-quality, too, fitting perfectly with the site's overall professional look and feel.

Bottom line: The portfolio features large, professional-looking photographs that blend well with the site's overall design. Displaying a well-organized variety of projects also makes this site worthy of notice.
