Designed for mature buyers looking for a residence that offers live/work potential, Plan 2 at Front Street blends style and functionality. The community is zoned for low-impact businesses that require minimal customer traffic. The two-story home features a Colonial exterior defined by an impressive portico on its front elevation. Plan 2's work space is accessed though an entry off the rear garage court and occupies 696 square feet of living space on two floors. The formal living and dining rooms in this model are oriented toward the front of the plan. The kitchen and family room feature an open design that promotes interaction between these two areas. The kitchen includes a combination island/snack bar with seating for three. A fireplace, one of two in the home, provides a focal point. To provide the homeowner with maximum privacy on the second floor, Plan 2 places the master suite at the front of the home, the secondary bedrooms at its midpoint and the professional office space at the rear. Although the work space is accessible from the living areas, there are no sightlines from one to the other. Density for this 22-home development is 7.1 units per acre.
