Opening the door to a hot, humid day or a frigid winter morning is enough to tempt most of us to turn around and stay indoors. We look to our homes to protect us from the harsh weather, to keep us cozy, and to provide a comfortable place for our friends and family to gather. But many people can't get comfortable in their new home because of unbalanced heating, cooling, and drafts.

Proper insulation, air sealing, and ventilation contribute significantly to the comfort of the interior environment, energy efficiency, and moisture control in a home. Uncontrolled air transfer and movement will make your customer's home uncomfortable and inefficient, driving your satisfaction ratings down and their energy bills up.

Controlling air transfer through proper insulation reduces the amount of heat loss or heat gain between the outdoors and inside the home, keeping your customers comfortable and their air conditioning or heating bill to a minimum.

The internal temperature of the home can't be controlled by insulation alone. Air sealing and proper ventilation are necessary if you want to build homes that will keep your customers comfortable, lower their energy bills, and give you excellent marks in customer satisfaction.
