Weather Shield

June 30, 2001

ThermoGold low E2 glass is now standard in all product lines, including the Legacy Series. Gold particles, undetectable to the human eye, are manufactured directly into the glass to reduce the harmful effects of UV rays that can cause interior furnishings to fade. For glazing options, argon or argon/krypton gas can be injected into the airspace between panes of glass to bring a window or door up to value R-10 for better energy efficiency. Warranty: limited 20-year. Supply: distributors. Contact: 800/477-6808, www.weathershield.com.
