Wayne-Dalton and The Muhler Co. Launch Storm Stud Window System

For window protection that is code compliant system, properly installed, and easily deployed, Wayne-Dalton and The Muhler Co. have teamed together to introduce an attachment system called Storm Stud that is used in conjunction with Wayne-Dalton’s Fabric Shield storm panels and various window systems

Designed to use with Wayne-Dalton’s Fabric Shield storm panels, Storm Studs are inserted into the window frame during the manufacturing process or post fabrication. Once installed a decorative cap covers the stud leaving an aesthetically pleasing fixture that is ready for installing the Fabric Shield panels when a hurricane approaches. The Fabric Shield panel is translucent, allowing some light to enter the structure and gives piece of mind with a factory-installed code compliant system.
