Warm Springs Composite Products Posts New Posts to the Market
The Native American-owned components manufacturer now offers manufactured posts for use in stair cases, built-in cabinetry systems and other interior woodworking applications
November 11, 2009
The new veneer posts from Warm Springs Composite Products serve as an economical alternative to solid wood posts, are available in any wood species and can be manufactured up to 10½ inches wide and 10 feet long. Standard construction consists of an MDF core assembled into a hollow square tube which is then flat-laminated with high-quality veneers using no-added formaldehyde adhesives. The company says this process can be customized to meet any customer's specific needs, such as a solid core constructed of flat-laminated lower-grade lumber, or hybrid pieces engineered with solid core on the ends to enhance fastening capabilities.
