FloodStopper automatically shuts off a home’s water supply upon detection of a leak. The system’s low-profile electronic sensors are placed on the floor at points where leaks might occur, such as near a water heater. The sensors can be hard-wired or, where access is difficult, wirelessly connected to the system’s control panel. When a shutoff is effected, the control panel emits a visual and/or an audible alarm and displays the location of the problem.
