Skil

October 31, 2001

The cordless hammer-action drill driver drills wood, metal, masonry and cement. The hammer mode delivers 24,800 hits per minute for drilling in brick and cement. Equipped with variable-speed reversing capability, the drill driver has two speed ranges: 0-350 rpm and 0-1,550 rpm. The 3/8-inch, ratchet-action chuck clicks as it tightens to reduce slipping and stay locked during use. The tool also features a seven-position clutch, a top-mounted magnetic plate for holding fasteners and bits, a soft-grip handle and end cap to absorb shock, and a removable side handle for control.
