Punch on Through with Vermont American's WoodEater
WoodEater drill bits by Vermont American have been redesigned with an aggressive screw tip to work like an auger bit. The self-feed screw tip helps draw the bit easily through wood, requiring little to no pressure
July 17, 2009
The WoodEater drill bit is constructed of hardened carbon steel with a heat-treated shank that provides stability and eliminates wobble. Need to punch holes or run pipes or some electrical? The dual cutting spurs are angled to score the hole on entry and exit, leaving a cleaner hole and reducing blowout. And, the bits are easily re-sharpened to last far longer than standard spade bits.
