A Pressing Issue: RIDGID's New Press Snap Cutter
Use the Press Snap to cut through metal pipes or PEX tubing in seconds
September 16, 2009
RIDGID’s new Press Snap cutter takes manual ratcheting out of the equation when it’s paired with the company’s CT-400, 320-E or RP 330-B/C models. The cutter attaches to the tool and the Press Snap wraps around the pipe. End users hit the trigger and that’s all you need to make a great cut without scoring the pipe beforehand. The company’s pressing line sports electro-hydraulic press tools with interchangeable jaws and rings that press and connect copper, stainless steel, and PEX tubing.
