Owens Corning

Home theaters are a common addition in home remodelings. But not everyone in the house wants the surround-sound experience. A QuietZone Noise Control System decreases perceived noise by up to 80 percent when compared to conventional wood-stud construction. The system uses acoustic products to effectively manage sound and control noise and, in addition to entertainment rooms, is ideal for use in the construction of laundry rooms, family rooms and other noise-producing areas. System includes acoustic wall framing (eliminates the need for staggered studs and resilient channels), floor mats (placed between the sub-floor and overlayment), caulk (blocks sound vibrations), batts and door system (Premdor’s Safe N’ Sound doors).
