Nordyne’s 13 SEER + Heat Pump (T3BD) is sized for slab or rooftop mounting. When matched with the company’s variable-speed air handler or variable-speed blower kits, the T3BD is rated up to 14 SEER and 8.5 HSPF. The system includes a time and temperature defrost feature and a muffler that reduces noise inside and out. A copper tube and aluminum fin coils optimize heat transfer and increase durability, the company says, and the pump’s plastic-coated grille and plastic mesh protect coils from damage caused by extreme weather or flying debris.
