Nichiha USA Introduces Three New Profiles At IBS 2003

Nichiha USA, a technological innovator in fiber cement products, introduced three new profiles and line extensions at the 2003 International Builders Show in Las Vegas: stained Sierra Premium Shake, Whitewash Brick and Newport Brick.

WHAT'S NEW? Sierra Premium™ Shake is now available both primed and stained. Featuring five rich stain choices - mahogany, maple, redwood, cedar and gray- the new stained shake is a solid line extension and offers builders and homeowners an alternative to on-site painting. The new stained shake offers a 12-year warranty for factory-applied stained finishes manufactured by Duckback Products Inc. The stain is machine-applied and dries dark in the grooves for high definition.

Whitewash Brick, part of the Vintage Brick line, offers a textured-mortar, realistic new-construction brick look not yet found on the market. This new profile from Nichiha represents a new manufacturing style, which results in the true look and feel of brick.

In addition, Alexandria Brick, an existing member of the Vintage Brick family, has been revamped and now offers a rougher mortar look. A long-time favorite with builders for its traditional look and feel, Alexandria is available in Red/Buff.

Newport Brick, a new profile offered by Nichiha this year, rounds out the company's brick offerings. Available in four colors (Red/Red, Red/Buff, Rose/Buff and Rose/Red), Newport offers a squared edge and the look of new construction. The mortar is sand-textured to give the look and feel of a real brick product.

THE AMERICAN VILLAGE: Nichiha fiber cement products were also was featured in The American Village show homes just outside the entrance to the show. Our Sierra Premium Shake and brick products looked great on the Concrete House!

BOOTH #6476: A key product featured in the Nichiha booth once again was the popular Sierra Premium™ Shake.
