EmailNCCER Updates Module to LEED Version 3 and adds Green Study Guide
Curriculum has has been updated and also includes a training course study guide

Gainesville, Fla. — The National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) “Your Role in the Green Environment” curriculum has been updated to include LEED Version 3 and a Training Course Study Guide: Preparation for Green Advantage® Exam. This guide will assist students and practitioners in their preparations for the Green Advantage® Commercial/Residential Certification Exam.
Additional enhancements to the updated green module now includes a list of common acronyms used in the green building; updated statistics; revised and updated review and test questions; and a “Green Jobs” Initiative Framework chart. Additionally, the LEED for New Construction Project Checklist is now based on a 100-point model.
Because green building is consistently changing, “the latest LEED 2009 version has been incorporated with easier access to rating system information at a glance,” said Sue Norman, LEED AP, Green Advantage® instructor. “A Green Advantage® review section has also been incorporated making exam preparation even easier. Most importantly, the revisions keep the module up to speed with the changes in green building.”

Students successfully completing Your Role in the Green Environment through an NCCER Accredited Training Sponsor will earn industry-recognized credentials through the NCCER National Registry.
