NCCER Hosts Safety Management Academy
Program provides knowledge, techniques to implement construction safety program

Gainesville, Fla. — NCCER will host an academy for safety management professionals Sept. 19-25, 2009 at Clemson University, Clemson, S.C.
Conducted at a remote lakeside setting, NCCER’s Safety Management Academy is designed for both corporate safety directors and experienced field safety coordinators and provides the philosophy, operating knowledge, and techniques necessary to design and implement a quality construction safety program for contractors.
Academy tuition is $2795 and includes lodging, all meals, course materials, transportation, and activities.
Participants experience an intense, one-week session of group projects, team building exercises, case studies, and lasting networking opportunities. Participants will also receive six continuing education units, a 30-hour OSHA card, and a certificate of completion from NCCER’s National Registry.
More than 3,000 management personnel representing more than 600 companies worldwide have attended NCCER’s Construction Management Academies.
