Modified styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) asphalt shingles use Kraton polymers to add flexibility and strength to a traditionally rigid product. Three styles are available: the Alaskan, the Hurricane and the Legacy. The Alaskan is designed to be installed at low temperatures. The Hurricane is designed for the new wind-resistance standards and includes the 3M Alga Block Copper Roofing Granule System to combat algae growth in high-moisture regions. The Legacy laminated shingle is a dimensional shingle.
