The G60 gas furnace features two-stage heating designed to reduce temperature swings and thermostat adjustments. In the first stage, the furnace runs at about 68% of its capacity, which the company says is enough to warm a home on mild winter days. When the temperature drops, the furnace automatically goes into its second stage. Lennox says the product controls temperatures to within 1 degree of the thermostat setting.
